Sorry I’ve been MIA….

It’s been a long time since I’ve updated my Blog.  Thanks to the emails and comments that I’ve received asking what happened to me!  It’s nice to know I have a following (even though very small).  I’m going to try to start blogging more regularly again… for my own sanity at least.

If you were following before, you can pretty much assume the Project 365 is down the tubes.  I stopped carrying my camera every day, but I will keep posting any pics that might be at all interesting to you.  The main reason I’ve stopped blogging is not because of a lack of topics to write about, that’s for sure.  Since my last post, I’ve been back to San Antonio, NYC, Sacramento, San Francisco, Tiburon, Sonoma and Napa (for wine tasting) and a bunch of other small places in between.  I’ve started some new projects, moved apartments, partially re-located to Folsom, enrolled Sammy in doggie day care and have eaten at a lot of delicious places.  I sadly, just haven’t had that much time to write because of life and work.

Which raises this question to my mind: How can I become a professional Social NetWorker?

I’m serious.  All I want to do all day is blog, facebook, Yelp, and maybe even Tweet (if I could find the time to figure it out).  I want to go out with friends, travel, eat, drink and write about it.  I’m going to keep trying to figure it out.  Perhaps while I’m in Las Vegas this weekend!

Yee Haw!

So I am on assignment for work in San Antonio, TX.  The past year or so, I’ve spent more time in texas than I ever had in my whole life.  I have now gone to Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth area, and now San Antonio.  One of the things most people think about when they come to TX is S-P-R-A-W-L, I know I do and BBQ.  When people think of San Antonio, they think of the Alamo and the Riverwalk.  I’m going to post a full write up on my experience at the riverwalk later.  For now, here is the historic Alamo.

Tourist in My Own Town – Mt. Tam

I went to Mt. Tamalpais today for the first time ever, in my 20-some odd years off and on in the Bay Area.  I went with my good friend S and her boyfriend B and we took a two hour hike.  It was beautiful, and utterly amazing that it is literally only 15 miles outside of the bustling San Francisco Bay Area.  I’m going to cheat with Project 365/100, and post a couple of photos from Mt. Tam today.    We saw some “awe-inspiring” and breath-taking views while B navigated us all around.  I would totally encourage any nature lovers or full time urban dwellers to take full advantage while the summer is here.

First Project 365 post in a long time.  At the rate I’m going, maybe it should just be Project 100?

Anyway, meet Emmie.  Sammy’s Cousin.  Emmie is about 1.5 years old and is a mix that my sister Diana rescued from Wonder Dog Rescue when she was  just a little baby.  Emmie is a lover, and thinks she’s a lap dog, but she’s got a wild streak in her.  Emmie loves to play with her toys, growl, and bark and she also likes to go to Dolores Park.

Bye Bye NYC (for now anyway)

Tonight is my last night in my favorite City in the World.  New York.  I’ve lived here off and on the past 7 years, and the last year I’ve been between here and SF (mostly here) due to work reasons.  Now that my project in NYC is ending, I’m heading back “home” to San Francico tomorrow and will have that as my base for a while.

So, to say goodbye to my apartment, I’m posting a pic of the view outside my window.   Absolutely gorgeous.
